Dear Friends
and Family of Evelyn Hinsdale, Many of you know that my Mother,
Evelyn Hinsdale, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2007.
Several people have asked me if there was a charity that
Evelyn would like to have donations made to in her name. My Mother
was a great animal lover. She would have liked to help her four
legged friends who have had a hard life and need adoption and care.
I personally had experience with Heidi's Legacy (a small
organization without many resources) when we were acquainted with an
8 year old German Shepherd who lived outside through all weather
conditions and several hurricanes. Her water bowl was green with
algae and her ears had pieces missing from them from being
mercilessly bitten by insects. Heidi's Legacy took her in even
though they were beyond capacity. They had her immediately under a
Veterinarian's care. In a month she was adopted by a retired couple
who adored this sweet dog who did not have a mean bone in her body
regardless of the neglect and abuse. Today she lives inside a home
as a happy and valued child of the adoptive parents. She has also
become a camper. Life doesn't get much better. Heidi's Rescue does
make a difference.
